Time-stamp a Blockchain digital signature. Loss of the GPS signal is potentially crippling to segments of U.S. critical infrastructure. Electronic signatures and time stamps are fundamental technique to prove authenticity of electronic documents. Time stamps can prove that a digital file existed at a certain point of time and that its content has not been altered since that time. Applications of Time Stamps range from banking transactions, document management, patent protection, cybersecurity, cloud, data storage backups to computer forensics and so on. One of the major uses of Time Stamps is to Time-stamp a Blockchain digital signature to prove that the digital signature was created during the lifetime of its signing certificate.

TimeKeeper Server Software  transforms any server computer into a timing appliance. Server software can use networks or devices like GPS receivers as time sources and can serve time over any protocol. PTP versus NTP & Universal connector

TimeKeeper Server Software can bring in time from GPS clocks, Pulse-Per-Second lines, IRIG or other specialized connectors and over Ethernet and Infiniband networks using either IEEE 1588 Precision Timing Protocol (PTP) or Network Time Protocol (NTP) or any combination. The Server can output both PTP and NTP on multiple network adaptors. Any network device hardware timing assist is used, transparently. One common configuration uses PTP from one source as the primary source and NTP from another source as a backup. It is easy to configure the server to serve PTP on multiple domains or NTP from multiple IPs, or to use PTP Telecom Profile or Hybrid mode. Time can come in via NTP and leave via multiple PTP domains – whatever suits the use.
